We stopped in at coffee, importers for an afternoon ice cream and espresso. I got the rum raisin ice cream and he got the praline. That’s were delicious. The rum flavor came through very suddenly. The espresso was delicious. I asked them where they get their coffee beans from and they said Mountainous family roasters in San Francisco. I consider myself a coffee aficionado after working on a Kona coffee farm for six years and learning all the processes from cherry to parchment to green to roast. Highly recommended for an afternoon fun break when visiting Dana Point. They also have baked goods which we did not try, but they look delicious.
Great local cafe within the heart of Dana Point Harbor. They offer delicious Bagel Sandwiches with hefty portions. There might be a wait in the morning, but the line was fairly quick and all the workers were very friendly and helpful. The view of the harbor is beautiful and the seating area is also dog friendly. There were many cute dogs out when we went, walking around the harbor (on leash). Highly recommend for you to visit here for a nice breakfast/brunch or lunch! Next door with the same company, they also offer ice cream- we stopped by there later after sunset and it was also lovely.
I've lived in California since 2018 and Coffee Importers has been one of my favorite places to visit. This past weekend we checked out the new location at the Ocean Institute and it did not disappoint. It was opening weekend so you can imagine how busy they were but it was a great experience, as it usually is. I had my favorite menu items - Dana Bagel on an Everything Bagel and the Frozen Blackbeard blended coffee drink, amazing selections. That Frozen Blackbeard always hits different, if you know what I mean. Try Coffee Importers the next time you're in Dana Point, you won't be disappointed!
We have come here several times to enjoy the sunset at the Dana Point Harbor. Lots of seating available outside this place with umbrellas. Had the matcha lavender latte and the macaroon. Both were delicious with the drink being nice and hot like I enjoy it. There is a lot of walking available around the harbor and people watching. Lots of dogs and strollers. It’s an enjoyable time anytime at the oceans side.
We are originally from Southern California and this location has been a staple in the Dana Point harbor. They have the best Cafe Mocha, and their neighboring bagel joint is the bomb. If you are in the area, check it out, just be aware that there's tons of construction because they're expanding the harbor.

Love, love love this place. It’s right on the harbor with incredible views of the boats. You get a lot of food. I ordered the sunrise bagel with onions and bell peppers and bacon delicious and huge! Service was speedy. They are set up for scale. Kitchen looked clean and efficient. Seating outside is excellent
